ZIKR USTAD KA: A GRAND MUSICAL EVENING IN BARODA

Enjoy the soulful vocals of Dr. Nabanita Chowdhary, the harmonious melodies of Nilay Salvi on harmonium, and the rhythmic brilliance of Himanshu Mahant on tabla.

Experience the virtuosity of Padmashree Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan on sitar, the sitar maestro who is praised for his vocalistic phrasing and quality of raga improvisations, known as “Gayaki Ang”, and renowned Padmashree Pandit Vijay Ghate on tabla, adding a personal touch to the celebration.

She has graced stages across India and worldwide, performing in countries like the USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand and Bangladesh. In addition to her performances, Dr. Chowdhary is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians.

Dr. Nabanita Chowdhary founded Sangeet Sandhya in 2000 for the promotion of the rich culture and heritage of our country and conducts workshops, lectures, demonstrations, sharing her vast knowledge and expertise.
