With time, her passion found a new direction as she immersed herself in the delicate nuances of Ghazal, receiving profound training from Calcutta School of Music Academy and also from Shri. Pandit Ajay Chakraborty at Sruti Nandan.
A graduate in Literature, she chose to dedicate her life to the art of song, becoming a gold medalist in Sugam Sangeet (Sangeet Bisarad) and earning distinguished titles in Nazrul Geeti—Sangeet Ratna and Sangeetsree. These accolades reflect not only her mastery but also her deep devotion to the poetic and melodic heritage of Bengal.
