Prof. Suresh K. Nair Embarks on Agastya’s Changemaker Fellowship Journey at Kuppam

Renowned artist and Professor at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Shri. Suresh K. Nair has been selected to participate in the prestigious K.V. Raghavan Changemaker Fellowship Program 2026, hosted by Agastya International Foundation.

This fellowship, celebrated for nurturing transformative voices in education, brings together changemakers from across India to reimagine learning and creativity.

From 6th to 11th April 2026, Prof. Suresh K. Nair will join the 5-day Launch Forum at the Agastya Creativity Campus in Gudivalam, near Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh.

The immersive residential program promises a vibrant tapestry of dialogues, exposure visits, pedagogy workshops, and peer learning interactions. It marks the beginning of a year-long journey dedicated to reshaping the educational landscape through innovation and collaboration.

Prof. Suresh K. Nair has carved a distinguished presence in both Indian and international art circles, with acclaimed exhibitions across galleries and museums worldwide. Recipient of prestigious honors including the Elizabeth Green Shield Foundation Scholarship (Canada) and the Fulbright Fellowship (USA) for academic exchange at Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia, and many more, his journey reflects a rare blend of artistry and scholarship. Illuminating the corridors of BHU with his vision, Prof. Suresh K. Nair has inspired generations of students and art enthusiasts. His participation in Agastya’s K.V. Raghavan Changemaker Fellowship further amplifies his belief in art as a powerful catalyst for education and social transformation.

Each year, 20–25 changemakers from across the country gather to share ideas, collaborate, and scale impactful initiatives. With access to Agastya’s vibrant network, the fellowship nurtures confident, creative learners—tinkerers, innovators, and solution seekers—who embody the spirit of educational transformation.

Shri K.V. Raghavan’s legacy is woven into Agastya’s very foundation. In the early 1990s, he envisioned a dynamic campus where children and teachers could engage in real-time creative learning. His foresight in co-locating teacher training with hands-on labs created a unique environment of interaction and discovery.
