SHAMIYANA: Upcoming Vrindan Foundation’s Baithak Concert to Blend Classical and Fusion Magic
On Sunday, 30 November 2025, music lovers in New Delhi will gather at Harmony Hall, Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Creativity for SHAMIYANA—a soulful evening from the Vrindan Foundation’s Baithak Series. This upcoming concert promises a rich blend of classical depth and fusion brilliance.
The event will open with a vocal recital by renowned Dr. Rita Dev, accompanied by the expressive tabla of Jaishankar Mishra. Their performance will offer a serene journey through timeless ragas and heartfelt rhythm.

The evening will then shift into a vibrant fusion, led by renowned musician Arunangshu, joined by Sujoy Chakravarty, Amir Khan, Sankumay Debnath and Adnan Khan. With diverse instruments and styles, the ensemble will explore new musical landscapes—where tradition meets innovation.
Vrindan Foundation has been a pillar of support for physically and mentally challenged children and for economically weaker artists. By providing education, workshops, and platforms for recognition, it helps them find dignity and independence. From teaching music to poor children to empowering youth with skills in performing arts, craft and design, Vrindan lights countless lamps of hope.

Founded by renowned musician Arunangshu Chaudhury, Vrindan embraces the transformative power of the arts.
As he beautifully says, “Vrindan enlightens society through music, dance, yoga, painting, theater and more.” This vision reflects the foundation’s mission to nurture hidden talent and bring light into lives through cultural expression.
