Renowned Indian Muralist Suresh K. Nair Embarks on Cultural Mission to France

On 12th December 2025, celebrated Indian artist and muralist Prof. Suresh K. Nair begins a prestigious journey to France, representing the soul of Indian visual arts on an international stage. 

Sponsored by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), under the Ministry of External Affairs, his visit marks a significant cultural exchange between India and France. Prof. Nair, Assistant Professor at the Department of Painting, Faculty of Visual Arts, Banaras Hindu University, will undertake a mural project at the Embassy of India and the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre in Paris. Over the past decade, he has gained wide acclaim, showcasing his art in India and abroad—including exhibitions and murals in the USA, Canada and Spain.

His presence in the heart of Europe not only honors India’s rich artistic heritage but also strengthens global appreciation for its timeless traditions. 

This initiative reflects the ICCR’s commitment to fostering artistic dialogue and celebrating the brilliance of Indian talent across borders.
