Ramayana Masa: A Sacred Symphony of Devotion and Navavarana Krithis

In the tranquil sanctum of Narayaneeyam, Kasargod, the dawn of August 7, 2026 will shimmer with divine resonance as ‘Ramayana Masa’ unfolds under the auspicious banner of Veenavadini Sangeetha Vidyapeetam, a unit of BSNUS Sangeetha Prathishtanam (R), Ubrangala, Kasargod, Kerala.

The day begins with the Maha Ganapathi Homam led by Brahmasri Anantha Bhat Churikoddu, invoking purity and auspicious beginnings.

As dusk descends, Brahmasri Radhakrishna Bhat Alangaru will guide the Bhagavathi Seva Pooja, along with Devi aradhana through Devi kruthis, offering devotees an opportunity to seek the blessings of Goddess Bhagavathi through Vedic rituals and devotional music, illuminating hearts with sacred grace.

The evening’s crowning jewel is the Navavarana Krithis, the nine-layered musical homage to Shrichakra, composed by Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar in praise of Sri Lalitha Tripurasundari. This exquisite offering, rendered by Team Veenavadini under Sri Yogeesha Sharma Ballapadavu, accompanied by Sri Prabhakara Kunjaru on violin and percussionists Sri Ashlesh, Sri Vishwas, and Sri Parashara, embodies the seamless union of Vedic worship, Devi Upasana, and Carnatic music.

Each note, each chant, and each flicker of the lamp will echo the eternal truth — that devotion and art are inseparable expressions of the divine.

A timeless offering where devotion and melody unite in radiant spiritual harmony.
