EXPERIENCE THE GRACE OF BHARATANATYAM WITH NATYA SHRI SMT DEBJANI CHATTERJEE

THE PUNE INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL 2025 IS SET TO BE A GRAND CELEBRATION OF DANCE, TRANSCENDING CULTURAL HERITAGE AND ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE.

This prestigious event, organized in collaboration with the School of Liberal Arts, Indira University, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation, promises to be a mesmerizing experience. 

On the 8th & 9th of March 2025, the festival will feature a captivating Bharatanatyam performance by the renowned Natya Shri Smt Debjani Chatterjee, the Director and Artistic Head of Prabha Kalabhoomi, Kolkata. On 8th March 2025, the event will take place at the Dhruv Auditorium, Indira Universe Campus, Tathawade, Pune, PCMC. 

Natya Shri Smt. Debjani Chatterjee, a disciple of Padma Shri Guru Smt. Chitra Visweswaran of Chennai, and guided by esteemed mentors Smt. Thankamani Kutty, Sri. Kalamandalam Venkit and Smt.Anusuya Banerjee  since childhood, considers herself a devoted seeker of knowledge. She has graced major festivals in India and abroad with her immense talent, featured on Discovery Asia Channel, and led numerous workshops, demonstrations, and lectures at prestigious institutions globally. 

As the founder of Prabaha Kalabhoomi, she passionately promotes Bharatanatyam in the Chidambaram style, preserving and sharing the rich heritage and culture of India through the Guru-Shishya Parampara.

The festival is coordinated by Suvarna Bag and convened by Rasika Gumaste, with a dedicated team comprising Neha Muthiyan, Asmita Thakur, and Shama Adhikari.
