Bharat Gaan Mahotsav 2025 Set to Break World Record with 9001 Artistes in Delhi

In a vibrant gathering at the Press Club, Kolkata on 28 July 2025, the Pandit Ravi Shankar Foundation unveiled the grand vision of Bharat Gaan Mahotsav 2025—a two-and-a-half-day cultural celebration poised to unite 9001 artistes from across India. 

This extraordinary initiative, aiming for a world record, will spotlight the country’s unmatched diversity through music, dance and artistic collaboration in New Delhi.

The press conference was graced by revered figures in Indian arts, including Odissi exponent Sanchita Bhattacharya, Santoor maestro Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya, and Nabarun Chatterji, President of the Pandit Ravi Shankar Music Foundation. Their presence reflected the soul of the event—where tradition meets ambition, and every rhythm speaks of unity.
