Brushstrokes of Legacy: A Dialogue in Art
Bikaner House Hosts Majestic Blend of Fine Art and Film with Premiere Exhibition and Documentary Launch
New Delhi, India – This June, the historic Bikaner House becomes the heart of artistic celebration as it unveils a dual showcase of timeless creativity and cinematic reflection.
Beginning June 19, 2025, the Main Art Gallery, Bikaner House will present an evocative Painting & Sculpture Exhibition by renowned artists Dr. Amrit Kapoor (Paintings) and Suresh Kumar (Bronze Sculptures), whose works offer a dialogue between spirit and form.
The inauguration will be graced by Shri Parvesh Sahib Singh, Cabinet Minister (Delhi Govt.) as Chief Guest and Prof. Harsh Vardhan Sharma, Advisor (Art & Culture), NDMC, as Guest of Honour, marking the beginning of a five-day exhibition filled with depth, dialogue and artistic reverence.
“The exhibition presents an enriching blend of canvas and form — from Amrit Kapoor’s vibrant visual compositions to Suresh Kumar’s timeless sculptural works,” says the organizers of the exhibition.
Adding a compelling layer to the evening, the premiere of “Life Line,” a documentary film by Vajranabh Natraaj Maharshi, will give viewers an intimate look into the sculptural legacy of Suresh Kumar—exploring his creative journey, technique, and dedication to the sculptural arts.
In a quiet harmony of brushstroke and chisel, this exhibition unfolds like a sacred dialogue between color and form.
Amrit Kapoor’s canvases pulse with life, while Suresh Kumar’s sculptures whisper stories etched in stillness. Together, they invite all to walk slowly—through memories shaped by art, through spirits stirred by beauty.
