Nirakar: Where Silence Becomes Art

Anantyam Qalaa Art Gallery, Hyderabad presents Nirakar—an evocative fundraising art experience that transcends form and speaks through feeling.

Featuring two visionary artists, Koeli Mukherjee Ghose and  Anjali Misra, the exhibition unfolds from July 12 to August 24, 2025, enveloping visitors in quiet wonder.

Powered by the Anantyam Foundation, this curated journey unveils emotions beyond shape and structure, celebrating the invisible threads that connect soul to canvas.

With esteemed chief guest Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Special Chief Secretary to the Government and CEO, Industry & Investment Cell and SPEED, Government of Telangana, gracing the preview, Nirakar becomes more than an event—it’s a serene celebration of thought, spirit and creative harmony.

Echoes in Ink: The Spirit Within Koeli’s Lines

Koeli Mukherjee Ghose paints more than pictures—she unveils emotions shaped by experience. Each line drawn with her bamboo quill carries a whisper of memory and a touch of spirit, flowing not for decoration but for depth. Her art moves gently between myth and meditation, crafting part-human figures that feel less like portraits and more like quiet states of being. Rooted in tradition but breathing with individuality, Koeli’s work invites the viewer to feel, reflect and sense what lies just beyond form.

Silent Grace: Koeli Mukherjee Ghose’s Art as Devotion

Koeli Mukherjee Ghose paints with purpose, not performance. Her art flows from an inner rhythm shaped by tradition, mindfulness and quiet renewal. As a curator, educator and cultural guide, her work reflects layers of reflection—each canvas a soft invocation, each line an offering. Her paintings aren’t loud statements, but slow companions that invite stillness and soul-searching.

“For a discerning collector, her paintings are not trophies of taste but intimate companions—objects that invite reflection, that speak slowly, and that endure. In a world of increasing noise, her work offers something rare: silence shaped by care, by attention and by love,” — Anand Kumar Ghose, Film Maker and Creative Professional.

Inherited Whispers: Koeli Mukherjee Ghose’s Art Beyond Symbol

Koeli Mukherjee Ghose carries forward a legacy rooted in cultural thought and artistic honesty. Influenced by her grandmother Asha Mukherjee’s celebrated editorial work, Koeli’s creations balance intellect and emotion with poetic grace. Her untitled canvases stir stories—where Radha and Krishna whisper in everyday moments, yoga poses tremble with spontaneity, and motherhood stretches between stillness and motion. Her art dances between mystery and meaning, revealing life’s quiet contradictions with a gaze both tender and bold. Every image breathes—a fusion of tradition and spontaneity, shaped by emotion yet free from literal bounds.

Ink, Insight and Integration: Koeli’s Literary Lens

Since 2001, Koeli Mukherjee Ghose has written with rare depth and grace, offering windows into the evolving world of art. Her thoughtful essays—featured in leading publications like Art India and The Times of India—reflect a careful eye and a generous spirit, blending research with artistic empathy. Her recent book on Poosapati Parameshwar Raju stands as a lyrical tribute to calligraphy and its deeper truths.

For Koeli Mukherjee Ghose, writing is not apart from art—it is art. As in Santiniketan’s tradition, her creative journey flows as one: seeing, shaping and sharing meaning in every form she touches.

Nirakar – this special fundraiser, powered by Anantyam Foundation, invites all to explore a world beyond physical boundaries—where emotions, silence and spirit take center stage.
