MYTHICAL HUES – INTERNATIONAL ART SHOW ON CONNECTING THE WORLD THROUGH RAMAYANA AT THAILAND
MYTHICAL HUES – collaborative International Art exhibition organised by Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Embassy of India, Bangkok, Thailand and Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad (SSSP), Kolkata is on show at Indian Embassy, Bangkok, Thailand from 9 July 2024 till 11 July 2024.
Eminent artists from India and Princess Sirindhorn Art Centre, Thailand are participating in the 6th International Art Exhibition, commemorating the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad, showcasing their exquisite artworks connecting the World through the rich heritage of the epic, Ramayana.
The Exhibition includes paintings, drawings, photography and graphic design works of renowned artists Ankita Deb, After Ali, Benoy Dalui, Biswanath Das, Debashis Paul, Dibyangshu Das Gupta, Dona Sarkar, Dipa Ghosh, Indrajit Narayan, Indranil Ghosh, Jonaki Das Hazra (USA), Joydeep Bhattacharjee, Jyotirupa Sarma, Kanchan Mistry, Kaushik Majumder, Kiran Maharashtra, Mahidul Islam, Manoj Biswas, Mrinmoy Biswas, Piyali Bhadra Sikdar, Priyanka Paul, Rimi Biswas, Riya Ghosh, Sadhana Sharma, Sagarika Sharma, Sailaj Tarafdar, Sampurna Mandal, Sankar Tarafdar, Sayan Biswas, Shaswati Sur, Sironton Borthakur, Srishti Kashyap, Susanta Sarkar, Sutapa Chowdhury, Swapan Debnath and Sujata Devi.
Eminent artists from Thailand include Surya Koonsawasdikool, Asst. Prof. Tanakorn Udomsri, Tanon Tongsri and Worapot Piapalad
“Today’s Exhibition is the paintings, drawings, photography, graphic design works of 40 artists who deserve to be encouraged and appreciated and if so we will have a feeling of success of our attempt to help the budding artists go ahead,” says Kajal Sengupta, Secretary of Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad, Kolkata.
Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad (SSSP) was formed in 1976 to propagate, foster and preserve the rich heritage of our art and culture as it is perceived that the traditional art forms were facing various threats including from the electronic media. The Parishad has since then started affiliating Training Centres and Cultural Institutions associated with art and culture throughout India and abroad.
