KIRTAN KALA UTSAV-2025: CELEBRATING CULTURAL HERITAGE

Organized by KIRTAN FOUNDATION, Guwahati in collaboration with the Department of cultural affairs, Government of Assam, and in association with KIRTAN KALA KENDRA, hosted a mesmerizing event, the Kirtan Kala Utsav-2025. This grand festival of classical dances and music, held on the 31st of January, 2025, at the Shilpgram Auditorium in Panjabari, Guwahati, was a celebration of art and culture. 

The evening was graced by the distribution of the Chakradhar Kakati Memorial Award, honoring outstanding contributions in the field. 

The event captivated the audience with its enchanting performances and heartfelt tributes, making it a memorable night for all who attended.

The program, held on January 31st, featured traditional performances by renowned artists Shri Ram Rai Kuthi Satra (Borgeet), Shri. Bor Bishnu Atta Than ( Sattriya Ojapali), Monica Chanda (Bharatnatyam), Pradymna Kumar Mohanta (Chhau Dance), Sudip Kumar Ghosh (Manipuri Dance), Bhaskar Jyoti Ojah (Khol Badon) and Sattriya Nritya by Kirtan Kala Kendra, Guwahati.

The evening captivated the audience with its rich cultural showcase, making it an unforgettable celebration of India’s artistic heritage.
