JIVA-CHAKRA: A Soulful Art Journey Honoring Vedantic Wisdom

In the heart of Kolkata, Chitrakoot Art Gallery presents JIVA-CHAKRA (The Soul Cycle)—an evocative solo exhibition by Dipankar Mani. This 18th showcase of his original paintings draws deeply from Vedantic lores, offering viewers a meditative passage through the cycles of soul and consciousness.

Timed to commemorate the birth anniversaries of Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the exhibition runs from January 23rd to 29th, 2026, daily between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The inauguration, set for 4 p.m. on opening day, brings together a constellation of cultural luminaries: Prof. Dr. Mahua Mukherjee, Pandit Mallar Ghosh, Prof. Dr. Soumayajit Roy, Mallika Ghosh, Monikiran Dattagupta, and Pradip Kr. Sengupta—each adding their unique resonance to the event.

Renowned for his mastery in calligraphic art, Dipankar Mani paints with the soul of Vedanta. Deeply inspired by Indian philosophy and the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, his works speak of silence, spirit and sacred rhythm. From Art Gaffin—an Indo-US exchange—to celebrated group shows at Birla Academy, his journey spans continents.

Held at the Chitrakoot Art Gallery, Presidency Court, Gariahat Road, this exhibition invites art lovers, seekers and thinkers to experience the soul’s journey through color, form and sacred narrative.
