IIC Double Bill: Music Recitals – A Night of Classical Harmony in New Delhi

On 8 July 2026, the C.D. Deshmukh Auditorium at the India International Centre, New Delhi, will host an exquisite evening of classical brilliance titled IIC Double Bill: Music Recitals.

The program begins at 6:00 PM with a Rabab Recital by renowned Imran Khan, disciple and son of Ustad Gulfam Ahmed Khan, accompanied by Shanti Bhushan Jha on tabla. His performance promises to evoke the deep, resonant timbre of the rabab—an instrument that bridges centuries of musical tradition.

At 7:00 PM, the stage will glow with the Hindustani Vocal Recital of Laxmipriya Nayak, disciple of Vidushi Anjana Nath. Guided by the sacred Guru–Shishya Parampara, Nayak’s voice embodies devotion and discipline, weaving ragas into meditative poetry. 

Renowned musician Laxmipriya Nayak will be accompanied by Arunava Dutta Banik on tabla and Mukesh Bhardwaj on harmonium, creating a perfect confluence of rhythm and melody.

An evening where two traditions converse—string and voice, devotion and resonance—celebrating the timeless soul of Indian classical music.
