ETERNAL RHYTHMS: A JOURNEY THROUGH NATURE’S ETERNAL DANCE

Dhoomimal Art Centre, New Delhi  presents “Eternal Rhythms,” a solo exhibition by emerging artist Pankaj Kumar Singh, starting from 2 December 2024 till 11 December 2024  at New Delhi.

“This exhibition invites viewers to embark on a captivating journey through the cycles of nature, exploring themes of creation, transformation and renewal. Pankaj’s work features bold grids, rhythmic geometric patterns and textured layers of charcoal dust, rice paper and cloth fragments. His art offers a meditative exploration of nature’s eternal dance, bridging the physical and metaphysical. Evoking the Vedic concept of Brahmand—the universe in its primal state—his canvases reflect the ceaseless flux of the natural world,” says the organizers of the Show.

“Nature is always in motion,” artist Pankaj shares.

“Even though it repeats itself, no two moments are ever truly the same. That continuous change is what I try to bring to my work. Painting allows me to connect with that energy and express it—it’s how I understand the world’s constant evolution,” he added.

Growing up in rural India, Pankaj was profoundly influenced by the natural cycles around him. This early connection to nature shaped his artistic vision. After completing his Fine Arts degree at Banaras Hindu University, he has showcased his work across India, resonating the subtle yet powerful transformations of nature.

Pankaj Kumar’s style beautifully combines abstraction and philosophy, drawing viewers into the timeless rhythms of nature with each brushstroke.

His vivid colors and jagged contours offer a deep meditation on creation and transformation. Each canvas invites viewers to pause and reflect on the beauty of renewal, reminding us that, like nature, we too are constantly evolving.

Mohit Jain, owner of Dhoomimal Art Centre, recalls initially rejecting Pankaj’s work, but two years later, Pankaj returned with a unique and powerful body of work.

“Pankaj Kumar’s first solo exhibition in 2014 was a sell-out, and now, curating his second solo exhibition is an exciting journey,” says Mohit Jain, owner of Dhoomimal Art Centre, New Delhi.
