Crescendo: Katayoun Karami’s Art Exhibition in Pune
Vida Heydari Contemporary presents Crescendo, a solo exhibition by renowned Iranian artist Katayoun Karami, running from 27 September to 25 October 2025.
Rooted in the movement ‘ #عليه_فراموشى ‘ (Against Forgetting), Katayoun Karami’s work transforms memory into a quiet act of defiance.
Through daily writing and repetition, she builds a living archive—one that honors resilience, solidarity and the strength of collective remembrance. Her open studio becomes a shared space of care, inviting viewers to walk beside her in imagining a freer, more peaceful world.
The exhibition opens with a preview on Saturday, 27 September 2025, 7:00–9:00 PM, with the artist in attendance.
