Confluence 2026: A Celebration of Vision and Light

The Photographic Society of Madras (PSM), one of the world’s oldest photographic institutions founded in 1857, presents Confluence 2026—its premier annual members’ exhibition that transforms Chennai into a vibrant canvas of visual storytelling. 

Held from 2nd to 8th June 2026 at Lalit Kala Akademi, Greams Road, Chennai,  this distinguished showcase brings together over 190 captivating images by 60+ talented photographers, each frame echoing the rhythm of life through wildlife, nature, streets, and creative photography.

The inauguration will be graced by acclaimed cinematographer Shri. Ravi Varman, ASC ISC, marks a moment of artistic synergy between cinema and still imagery—where every photograph becomes a silent poem of light and emotion. 

Confluence 2026 is a graceful homage to the timeless art of observation—an experience of the world through lenses that illuminate beauty, truth and imagination.

Each frame becomes a quiet reflection of vision and wonder, celebrating photography as poetry in light.
