Global Symphony: Aikatan’s Cultural Confluence in Kolkata

On 13 June 2026, the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Aikatan, Salt Lake, Kolkata shimmered with a radiant celebration of literature, music, dance and poetry. Organized by Shaishab Prakashan and N.E. Publishers, the evening unfolded as a luminous confluence of creative expression—where words embraced rhythm and movement. Shri Ashish Giri, Director of the EZCC released the Book.

Distinguished guests including Shri Tapas Roy, Smt. Locket Chatterjee, and eminent writers such as Dr. Jishnu Basu, Dr. Swarup Prasad Ghosh, and Shri Ashish Giri enriched the gathering with their presence. 

The presentation of Global Symphony: Banglar Bandhan  led by Tapas Kumar Pal and the Academy of Music and Cultural Foundation, added a profound literary note to the evening.

The graceful Gaudiya Nritya presentation by Dr. Mahua Mukherjee and Shri Amitava Mukherjee, accompanied by the talented students of Gaudiya Nritya Bharati, Kolkata, illuminated the stage with rhythm and devotion. 

Anchored with elegance by Smt. Nandita Acharya, the evening became a tribute to Bengal’s timeless artistic soul—where literature, melody, and movement intertwined in a symphony of culture.
