Blossom Like a Flower – A Soulful Ode to Art by Bipin Acharya
In the gentle twilight of 31st July 2026, Puducherry bloomed in hues of devotion and creativity as artist Bipin Acharya unveiled his solo exhibition, Blossom Like a Flower, at the Puducherry Contemporary Art Gallery.
The event, graced by eminent cultural figures and dignitaries, unfolded as a serene celebration of art’s divine offering—echoing The Mother’s timeless words, “Life must be blossom like a flower offering itself to the divine.”
The inauguration, presided over by Mr. Matri Prasad of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, and illuminated by Honourable Minister Mr. P. Rajavelu, reflected the city’s enduring reverence for artistic spirit.
Many distinguished guests including Mr. Vignesh Kannan, M.L.A., Mr. V. Kaliaperumal (Rtd. Director of Arts and Culture), Mr. M. Laurent Jalicous (Director, Alliance Francaise De Puducherry), Kalaimamani Dr. P.V. Prabhakaran (HOD, BPK Fine Arts College) and Art Director Mr. Remiyan graced the function.
The presence of distinguished guests from the realms of art, culture and academia lent the evening a rare harmony—where brushstrokes met blessings, and creativity merged with contemplation.
Acharya’s paintings, showcased from 1st to 6th August, embodied a meditative rhythm—each canvas whispering of surrender, beauty and inner awakening. The exhibition stood not merely as a display of art but as a spiritual dialogue between the artist and the divine, between Puducherry’s tranquil soul and the blossoming of human expression.
