BEYOND THE LAKSHMAN REKHA: APOORVA GARG’S DEBUT SOLO EXHIBITION

Triveni Gallery, New Delhi proudly presents “Beyond The Lakshman Rekha,” the debut solo exhibition by emerging artist Apoorva Garg. This groundbreaking exhibition highlights the persistent gender inequalities that shadow 21st-century India. 

The talented artist Apoorva offers a poignant exploration of the challenges women continue to face in contemporary society through her mixed-media works from from 21st to 30th November 2024 at New Delhi.

The exhibition’s opening reception is on 20th November at 5:30 PM, attended by Hon’ble Justice Pankaj Mithal (Judge, Supreme Court of India) as the Chief Guest. The artist will also engage with the audience to discuss her inspirations and the themes embedded in her work.

“The exhibition boldly addresses systemic issues such as unequal access to education, workplace discrimination and deeply ingrained societal expectations. Each piece is a narrative, blending self-portraiture with everyday symbols, creating a visual dialogue that speaks to both resilience and the urgent need for change. Apoorva’s unique artistic style invites reflection on the strength of women while challenging societal norms that perpetuate inequality,” says the organizers of the Show.
