CELEBRATE BASANTOTSAV 2025: A FESTIVAL OF MUSIC AND DANCE IN RANCHI

This event, hosted by Pracheen Kala Kendra in association with Jawaharlal Nehru Kala Kendra and Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Ranchi promises an enchanting showcase of cultural performances. A SYMPHONY OF TRADITIONS: DAY 1 OF BASANTOTSAV
On the first day of ‘Basantotsav’, the JVM Auditorium in Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali, Ranchi, will come alive with the enchanting melodies and rhythms of Indian classical music and dance. The evening of Saturday, 22nd February 2025, at 6:00 PM, promises a vibrant celebration featuring a Vocal Duet by musicians Lily Mukherjee and Amrita Chatterjee, a Vocal Recital by Priyanka Mitra, an Odissi Dance performance by Sumedha Sengupta & Group, and a Kathak Dance by Nabamita Choudhary & Group.

As the sun sets on the second day of Basantotsav 2025, the air will be filled with the lingering melodies of soulful music and the graceful movements of dance.
The evening will begin with the enchanting vocal recital by renowned musician Rathin Mukherjee, whose voice will resonate with the audience, creating an atmosphere of pure bliss.
Following this, eminent musician Subrata De’s sitar recital will transport everyone to a realm of tranquility and introspection, each note a testament to his mastery. The night will conclude with the mesmerizing vocal performance by Nibedita Bhattacharjee, whose powerful yet soothing voice will leave an indelible mark on every listener’s heart.
