THE FOUR SALONS UNITED: ART CAPITAL’S GRAND TRADITION

In the grand tradition of artistic fairs, Art Capital has brought together the Four Salons since 2006, creating a vibrant platform for both established and emerging artists. The Four Salons include The Salon of Comparisons, The Salon of French Artists, The Salon of Independent Artists, and The Salon of Drawing and Water Painting.

Held at the historic Grand Palais, originally created for the 1900 Universal Exhibition in the Fine Arts style and beautifully restored for the 2024 Olympic Games, Art Capital showcases a diverse range of creative expressions. This renowned event has seen participation from highly sought-after artists such as Poliakoff, Arman, Yves Klein, Vieira Da Silva, Alechinsky, François Morellet, Utrillo, Vlaminck, René Magritte, Man Ray, Picasso, Salvador Dali, Van Dongen, André Masson, Bernard Buffet, Olivier Debré, César, Niki de Saint-Phalle, and many others.

Art lovers, amateurs, and professionals alike flock to this prestigious Salon to admire the works of more than 2,000 artists from around the globe. With paintings, sculptures, engravings, photographs, mosaics, installations, and architectural displays, Art Capital offers a rich tapestry of artistic tendencies.

One of the highlights this year was the selection of Larissa Noury’s painting by the “Abstract Trans-Realism” group, chaired by Asilva. This grand fair continues to be a beacon of inspiration, bringing together the art community and celebrating the boundless creativity of its participants.

LARISSA NOURY’S ENCHANTING “LIVING PAINTINGS”

This year, Larissa Noury amazed art enthusiasts with her “Living paintings” showcased in incredible installations and performances. One of her tactile masterpieces, “Beyond the Time,” gracefully transitions from canvas to silk with the “Fujiyama Landscape.” The richness and softness of her color palette were both surprising and dynamic, captivating visitors from around the world who marveled at her multifaceted works and timeless artistry.

DISCOVERING ART DIFFERENTLY

Visitors were delighted to explore Larissa’s paintings, encoded with secrets and ancient stories that reveal themselves through touch and closed eyes. Noury, a talented painter, architect, colorist, and creator of emotions, skillfully juggles light and matter in her work. Her unique approach invites art lovers to engage with her pieces physically, offering a deeper understanding of the stories they hold.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM ART CAPITAL 2025

At this year’s Art Capital show at the Grand Palais, two of Larissa’s paintings stood out. The first, “Ode to the Living: Tree of Life,” presented at The Salon of Drawing and Water Painting, pays tribute to the Earth from its nourishing roots to the expansive sky. It promises to ground and uplift us, connecting the macrocosm with the microcosm.

The second painting, exhibited at the Salon Comparisons, is a celestial work that narrates the origin of time and life, capturing the whirlwind of cells, galaxies, and the indomitable nature of the elements. By touching it, visitors can feel the complexity of Creation and its transformative force in motion.

Larissa Noury remains an essential reference at Art Capital, symbolizing how deeply art is woven into our humanity. As Marion Drack once said, “Art is a part of our Humanity.”

The organizers crafted a beautiful walk through contemporary creation within the majestic Grand Palais, aiming to spotlight both emerging and established artists. Gallery owners, collectors, professionals, and art enthusiasts alike were enthralled by the works of the Four Salon’s artists. Over 50,770 visitors came to admire the stunning artworks on display.
