Alladiya Khan Yuva Sangeet Samaroh: A Grand Tribute to Tradition and Talent in Mumbai
On 9th November 2025, from 10.00 AM to 10.30 PM, the Ravindra Natya Mandir in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, will resonate with the timeless spirit of Indian classical music as the 1st Sangeet Samrat Alladiya Khan Yuva Sangeet Samaroh unfolds.
Organized by D.R. Khadke Pratisthan in association with P.L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy, this day-long celebration honours the legacy of Alladiya Khan while spotlighting young musical talent from across the country.
The inaugural moment of the Yuva Sangeet Samaroh will be lit with honour and purpose as Adv. Ashish Shelar, Hon’ble Minister for Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, steps forward to bless the stage. His presence echoes the state’s deep commitment to nurturing India’s classical performing arts, reminding us that tradition thrives when young voices are heard and supported. With this gesture, Maharashtra reaffirms its role as a guardian of heritage and a patron of tomorrow’s maestros.
The Yuva Sangeet Samaroh will bring together a radiant constellation of young musical talent—Arnav Buwa, Ninad Joshi, Ashna Jain, Aditi Koratkar, Tejaswini Vernekar, Adwait Kasar, Anuja Borude Shinde on the Pakhawaj, Shadja Ayyar, Rutuja Lad, and Shruti Vishwakarma Marathe—each ready to share their voice, their rhythm, and their soul.
With masterful support from leading tabla and harmonium accompanists, every performance will blend tradition with new energy, offering audiences a glimpse into the future of Hindustani classical music. It’s a celebration of heritage, reimagined through youthful eyes and heartfelt sound.
With free entry, the Yuva Sangeet Samaroh promises a rich cultural experience for all lovers of classical music.
