Where Mudras Speak and Rasa Unfolds: Rimpi Saha Banik at the 325th Baithak

Pracheen Kala Kendra presents its 325th Monthly Baithak, featuring Vidushi Rimpi Saha Banik, eminent Bharatanatyam exponent, at 6:30 PM at the M.L. Koser Auditorium, Sector 35-B, Chandigarh.
Rising gracefully through the rich traditions of Indian classical dance, Rimpi Saha Banik is a distinguished educator, choreographer, and artistic director whose artistry embraces Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Rabindra Nritya, and Folk forms.
Through the expressive language of Abhinaya, the eloquence of Mudras, and the emotional depth of Rasa, she creates performances that transcend words, touching audiences with rare sensitivity and grace.
Guided by the blessings of revered Gurus and grounded in the Kalakshetra tradition, her artistic journey is a harmonious blend of discipline, devotion, and creativity. With advanced academic achievements in Dance and Mass Communication, alongside prestigious certifications, she seamlessly bridges classical heritage and contemporary vision, illuminating the stage with technical excellence, rhythmic precision, and aesthetic brilliance.
Her stage journey has taken her across Delhi, Odisha, Kolkata, Rajasthan and Vishakhapatnam, and abroad to Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.
Her honours include the Guru Ratna Award (2021) and Guru Shree Award (2021), gold medals from Prayag Sangeet Samiti and Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad, and the titles Nritya Jyoti, Nrityangana and Padmajyoti Award.
