Where Silence Turns Into Pattern
In the quiet lanes of White Town, Puducherry, a single line is about to become a story.
Self-taught mandala artist Swapna Sahoo β born in Odisha, now rooted in Pondicherry β opens her very first solo exhibition, Mandala Art Exhibition, at THE SPOT, from 10th to 16th September 2026, inaugurated on the 10th at 5:30 PM in the presence of her family, friends and fellow artists.
For Swapna Sahoo, mandalas were never just childhood doodles β they grew into a language of stillness. Her background in Social Work taught her to notice what others overlook: emotions, silences, the unspoken. That same attentiveness now lives in every curve she draws.
“It is a slow and meditative process that gives me a sense of calm, focus, and freedom to express myself,” she shares β and true to her words, each artwork on display unfolds like a breath held and released, one pattern at a time.
This exhibition isn’t just a showcase. It’s a childhood love finding the courage to be seen.
