The World of Colors, Art & Haute Couture in Paris

On July 8, 2026, Paris became a living canvas where art, fashion and music dissolved into one radiant symphony. The Spiritual and Cultural Orthodox Russian Center (CSCOR) on Quai Branly hosted “The World of Colors, Art and Haute Couture”, an exquisite evening curated by internationally acclaimed colorist Larissa Noury.

A Multi-Sensory Celebration

The event unfolded as a rare fusion:

  • Book Presentation – Larissa Noury unveiled her latest masterpiece Le Monde des Couleurs: Art et Haute Couture, exploring the psychological and aesthetic depths of color.
  • Musical PerformanceClassical harmonies filled the hall, weaving sound into the chromatic narrative.
  • Tableaux Vivants Fashion ShowModels became living canvases, gliding in hand-painted couture that transformed fabric into moving art.

The Living Pictures

Each gown was a collaboration with legendary couturier Jean-Marie Pujol, once assistant to Dior and Yves Saint Laurent. Larissa Noury’s tactile brushstrokes and calligraphic sweeps animated the silhouettes, shimmering under shifting lights. Haute Couture became kinetic fine art, dissolving the line between gallery and runway.

Cultural Resonance

The evening drew diplomats, journalists, photographers, and UNESCO representatives, including Mr. Mikalai Varabyov, Advisor at the Embassy of Belarus. Their presence underscored the event’s cultural significance, situating Noury’s vision at the crossroads of international dialogue, artistry, and heritage.

A Classical Dialogue in Harmony

As part of Paris Fashion Week, the amphitheater of the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Center welcomed over two hundred guests into a rare dialogue of sight and sound. Models, shimmering in chromatic couture, first painted the air with living colors. Then, silence gave way to music.

Two virtuosos—Vessela Pelovska on piano and Estelle Persiaux on cello—took the stage. Their performance unfolded like a conversation: cascading piano phrases answered by resonant cello lines, weaving French and Russian classics into a luminous tapestry.

The concert mirrored Larissa Noury’s chromatic philosophy. Each note became a hue, each chord a brushstroke. Structure and emotion, couture and melody, stood in perfect reciprocity.

This evening proved that fashion, at its finest, is not an isolated spectacle but a nucleus of cultural expression—where color, couture, and classical music converge into timeless harmony.

The Parisian soirée of “The World of Colors, Art and Haute Couture” was not only a celebration of Larissa Noury’s artistry, but also a cherished cultural moment for the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Center.

The Voice of Mrs. Anna Igorevna Kotlova

Director of the Cultural Center, cultural advisor, and envoy of the Russian Embassy in France, Mrs. Anna Igorevna Kotlova, shared her heartfelt reflection: “I saw very happy and smiling faces of all present people in the public, so Larissa Noury’s events became a good tradition in our center and they are always very precious moments of sharing beauty.”

Echoes of Beauty and Voices of Admiration

The Parisian evening of “The World of Colors, Art and Haute Couture” did not end with spectacle alone—it resonated through the heartfelt words of those who attended. Their voices became part of the living tableaux, weaving testimony into Larissa Noury’s chromatic odyssey.

Words from the Audience

  • “What a wonderful evening! Larissa, I never cease to admire your talent and energy, bravo! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to present your creations to the public. Thank you to all the girls, you are amazing! A huge thank you to Leila for our magnificent makeup.
  • We thank you for the journey through space and time that you offered to such a large audience during the heatwave. Another ‘Larissa masterclass’ that we thoroughly enjoyed.
  • “Will beauty save the world? That’s certainly the bet of the inspired designer Larissa Noury with this representation of ‘living tableaux,’ a synthesis of fashion, painting, poetry and philosophical reflections on the links between humanity and creation. A timeless, pleasant moment that takes us away from current horrors and gives us hope: will beauty save the world? Yes, if there is more room for artists like Larissa.”Phil Derodrigue, talented artist.

Voices of Elegance and Poetry

The evening of “The World of Colors, Art and Haute Couture” in Paris was not only a spectacle of fashion and music, but also a gathering of luminous voices. Their words became part of the living artwork, echoing Larissa Noury’s chromatic vision.

Renowned writer and Poet Gisèle Mayet-Albagnac

“The evening was magnificent and filled with a beautiful atmosphere, with exceptional musicians and a fantastic singer. A huge thank you to Larissa and the whole team—it was a lovely, sweet and colorful moment.”

Renowned Leila Elmahi’s Poetic Offering

Her poem, “The Nymphs of Silk and Desire”, unfolded like a mystical tapestry:

In the secrecy of a sleeping garden / A canvas awakens beneath the blessed brush, /  A fragrance of mystery and amber rises / Beneath the fingers of grace, fingers of voluptuousness / This magic vibrates through Larissa Noury / Making souls dance with forbidden contours / The body becomes an altar to an unfinished dream / A moonlit silence, a secret unveiled / The artist-priestess, with a sovereign gesture, / Unleashes the secrets of slumbering worlds.

Behold the turquoise, subterranean ocean, / Caressing the grasses with infinite desire  / The violet train becomes this river of passion / The coral ignites in an invocation, / Drowning my gaze, drawn in by its steps / Of a magical mauve spreading beneath their feet / I felt hearts beat beneath this painting, / In this sweet trance of pure voluptuousness / The vibration of a world not of this earth / Of a mystical journey that never ends.

What a beautiful ritual, oh world of oracles, / They walk upon the Earth, bearing the miracle, / Around the world draped in desire, in meaning / Around beauty in full resonance .

Her verses transformed the runway into a sacred ritual, where couture became oracle and beauty became transcendence.

“Colour is a complex phenomenon and an eternal source of harmony.” — Larissa Noury
