Her solo production Hari Ho… Gati Meri (Let my Salvation be in You) has been showcased at prestigious platforms such as Sadler’s Wells in the Darbar Festival, Sydney Dance Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, alongside numerous acclaimed performances across India.

Critical Acclaim and Audience Delight  

Her performances have drawn rave reviews worldwide. The Guardian, London noted her “naturalistic, human presence on Sadler’s Wells stage,” while critic Lynette Halewood described her as “a forceful and commanding figure, possessed of considerable authority… She eats up space across the stage as the music impels her through whirling turns. The audience responds with whoops of delight.” Such accolades reflect the spellbinding impact of her elegant movements, expressive abhinaya, and commanding stage presence.

In recognition of her luminous journey, Gauri Diwakar has been conferred with prestigious accolades — the Purnima Smriti Yuva Gathantar Samman 2024, the Amaltas Kala Samman (2023), the Senior Fellowship by Kalavaahini Trust, Chennai (2019), and the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar (2008) by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India’s premier cultural body.
