Rabindra Sangeet & Nritya: Pracheen Kala Kendra’s Soulful Baithak in Kolkata
On 23rd May 2026, as the evening sun softens over the city of Kolkata, Pracheen Kala Kendra will unfurl its 3rd Bi‑Monthly Baithak of Subh Sangeet Sanchar – Kolkata Chapter at the Nari Siksha Samiti Hall from 4:30 pm onwards. This gathering promises to be more than a concert—it is a living dialogue with tradition, a celebration of rhythm, poetry and heritage.
Renowned Indian dancer, choreographer Arpita Dutta & Troupe, alongside the evocative artistry of Ranjan Kumar Das and Tannistha Dey, will entwine melody and movement to weave the timeless essence of Rabindra Sangeet and Rabindra Nritya into a luminous evening of cultural devotion.
Their performances will echo the lyrical spirit of Tagore, carrying forward the resonance of his vision into the present.
Guiding the flow of the evening with grace, Sayani Das will serve as the compere, ensuring that each note and movement finds its place in the collective experience.
This Baithak is not merely an event—it is a soulful passage into the heart of Indian cultural heritage, where melody and movement converge to remind us of the eternal relevance of Rabindrik tradition.
