Naad Pravah: A Flow of Sacred Sound
In the serene heart of Lucknow, the Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi ushers in a luminous chapter of musical devotion through its prestigious workshop — Naad Pravah, held from 20th to 29th May 2026.
This summer retreat, guided by the revered Pandit Dr. Sadanand Brahmbhatt, invites seekers of classical purity to immerse themselves in the timeless art of Haveli Sangeet, where melody becomes prayer and rhythm turns into reverence.
With serene conviction and a heart steeped in devotion, Pandit Dr. Sadanand Ji reflects on the essence of the upcoming ‘Naad Pravah’ Workshop:
“This workshop is being organised by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. I will be felicitating the participants on the topic ‘Haveli Sangeet’,” he shares, his words resonating with the quiet dignity of a lifelong musician devoted to the sacred art of sound.
He further adds with gentle pride, “Yes, students and music enthusiasts will be participating in this workshop during these ten days. Our main objective is to make people aware of this great tradition through this music workshop. This prestigious music workshop, will be based on Dhrupad style.”
Through his vision, Pandit Dr. Sadanand Ji reminds us that Haveli Sangeet is not merely a genre—it is a living prayer, a melodic offering that bridges the divine and the human. His presence at Naad Pravah transforms the event into a confluence of learning and legacy, where every note carries the fragrance of India’s timeless spiritual tradition.
