Born in Chhattisgarh in 1987, Kushwaha’s early life among farmlands shaped his intimate bond with the earth. From Khairagarh’s Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya to Bharat Bhavan in Bhopal, his journey has been one of deepening vision. Now based at Kaladham Artist Colony, Greater Noida, his practice continues to expand the language of landscape painting.

Sweeping vistas, monumental ranges, and contemplative waters unfold beneath skies of dusk and nocturnal stillness. Human presence lingers only in traces — a hut, a boat, a distant vehicle — underscoring the fragility of intervention against the vastness of nature. Animals, luminous and integral, inhabit these spaces as co-inhabitants, decentering humanity and affirming the landscape as a living entity.
