India Design ID 2026: The Age of Design Syncretism
India Design ID, the country’s most definitive design week, returns to New Delhi for its 14th edition from 19–22 February 2026 at NSIC Grounds, Okhla. With thirteen successful editions behind it, this influential platform continues to shape India’s design discourse while offering a global lens.
Anchored in the theme — The Age of Design Syncretism, India Design ID 2026 celebrates the confluence of heritage and modernity, craft and innovation, and Indian and international perspectives. The fair showcases the finest in bespoke furniture, lighting, furnishings, décor, collectible design and luxury interior solutions—bringing together over 150 leading Indian and international brands.
Through ID Exhibit, ID Symposium, ID Honours, and ID Special Projects, the edition presents a multi-dimensional experience that fosters creativity, community, and thought leadership. A highlight this year is the introduction of ID Salon, India’s first dedicated platform for collectible design, featuring international galleries and ateliers. Conceived as a focused design space, it places global voices in dialogue with the emerging collector landscape of the Global South.
India Design ID 2026: A Curatorial Lens on Tomorrow
Misha Bains, Fair Director & Curator, India Design ID & ID Salon reflects on the upcoming edition:
“India Design ID 2026 is conceived as an opening moment for the year, where the best of Indian and international design comes into sharper conversation. What makes this edition special is the way the show expands and deepens its curatorial lens: this year we’re bringing an Indo–French dialogue to the forefront through a dedicated French Art de Vivre Pavilion, and unveiling Design, Tomorrow – a special exhibition that looks at the ideas, materials, and practices shaping what design becomes next.
Beyond these highlights, the fair remains a considered map of the moment – spanning furniture, interiors, craft, material innovation and contemporary living, so visitors can not only discover what’s new, but understand the forces and stories behind it. As Fair Director, my focus is to hold both scale and substance, a platform with the scale and energy of design week and the clarity of curation that gives every voice its context.”
