Day 1 Highlights – Guru M. L. Koser Festival 2025
The inaugural evening on 28th November 2025 at Kamani Auditorium will unfold with soulful artistry. The stage will first resonate with a graceful vocal recital by Pandit Tushar Dutta, enriched by the rhythmic brilliance of Pandit Debasish Adhikary on tabla and the melodic support of Pandit Hiranmoy Mitra on harmonium. This will be followed by an electrifying tabla jugalbandi featuring Pandit Arvind Kumar Azad and Pandit Parimal Chakraborty, once again accompanied by Pandit Mitra’s harmonium. The night will reach its grand finale with a vibrant dance trio—a fusion of Bharatanatyam, Chhau, and Kuchipudi—performed by Dr. Sridhar Vasudevan, Shri. Prashant Kalia, and Ms. Ayana Mukherjee, offering audiences a dazzling celebration of rhythm, tradition and creativity.
Day 2 – 29th November 2025
The second dawn of the festival rises with the mellifluous voice of Vid. Gauri Pathare, her recital delicately woven with the rhythmic artistry of Pandit Vinod Lele on tabla and the soulful harmonies of Shri. Lalit Sisodia on harmonium. As twilight deepens, the stage glows with the grandeur of a rare Sitar Trayavadan, where Ustad Chhote Rahimat Khan joins hands with his brothers, Ustad Rafique Khan and Ustad Shafique Khan, their strings conversing in timeless raga, uplifted by the tabla brilliance of Shri. Yashwant Vaishnav and Sh. Mayank Bedekar. The night then finds its crescendo in dance—Guru Shama Bhate and her troupe breathe life into “Krishna: The Liberator”, a Kathak spectacle that unites rhythm, devotion, and storytelling into a luminous finale.
