18th Kirtan Festival 2025: A Soulful Evening of Devotion and Classical Harmony in Ahmedabad

Step into an evening of divine melodies and heartfelt devotion as Aradhana Sangeet Academy presents the 18th Kirtan Festival – 2025. 

Held at the serene Vallabh Sadan Mandir on Ashram Road, Ahmedabad, this cherished musical gathering brings together timeless traditions and vibrant performances. 

Honored guests Smt. Nandiniben Pandya and Shri Gauravbhai Sheth will grace the occasion. 

From Sarasvati Vandana to soulful Bhajans, the evening will feature renowned Dr. Monica Shah and her talented students in a celebration of Thumri, Bandish and Kirtan. 

Dr. Monica Shah, a distinguished disciple of Padma Vibhushan Girijadevi, carries forward the soulful legacy of Thumri with rare finesse. Trained under Dr. Pradipta Ganguli of the Kirana Gharana,  also influenced by the great maestro Shri. Rasiklal Andharia of Kirana Gharana and  trained by Shri. Laljibhai Chauhan, her artistry blends depth with devotion. 

A Ph.D. in Music and a Gold Medalist, she has earned many accolades, and her musical journey spans continents, with workshops and concerts across the USA and Canada, nurturing global appreciation for Indian classical traditions.
