Nrityanjali 2: A Timeless Tribute to Dance and Tradition

Grace flows through every gesture as Shinjan Nrityalaya, Kolkata, celebrates 29 years of artistic excellence with Nrityanjali 2.

Anchored in the soulful rhythm of Odissi, the featured dance drama Sthapatya Satya—choreographed by renowned Guru Smt. Aloka Kanungo, with creative collaboration from Baishali Bhuniya and Sriparna Bose—brings timeless stories to life. 

The evocative music, composed by Guru Ramahari Das, deepens the experience with every note. 

In a heartfelt moment of honor, the evening shines a spotlight on the Gotipua Gurus, with the prestigious Ratnalok Samman presented by Kalaangan (Houston), paying tribute to luminaries Guru Lingraj Barik and Late Guru Laxmidhar Swain. 

Thought leaders Sri Laxminarayan Mallik and Smt. Tapati Chowdhury grace the occasion, adding wisdom and warmth.
