Step into a world where tradition meets bold new expression. Roots Reimagined is a powerful art exhibition by Viya Contemporary, bringing together 16 outstanding South Asian artists under the curatorial eye of Aman Preet Kaur. 

From 21 June to 21 August 2025, explore this vivid celebration of culture and creativity at Avenue Square, Bellevue, Washington.

A stunning symphony of color and soul, Roots Reimagined brings together the unique visions of 16 South Asian artists: 

B Bhaskar Rao, Chippa Sudhakar, Deepanjali Shekhar, D V S Krishna, Manasa Priya, B Padma Reddy, P Suresh, Rajeswara Rao, Rachita Dutta, Raju T, Santosh Verma, Sajid Bin Amar, Srinia Chowdhury, Venkat Ramulu Jogu, Vinita Karim, and Vysali T. 

Each work speaks of roots deepened by tradition and branches stretched toward bold new skies—where the past and present meet in radiant harmony.

“Roots Reimagined is a contemporary exploration of heritage, identity and the foundations that shape us. White drawing from the literal idea of roots, the exhibition expands into a philosophical reflection on where we come from and how those origins influence our growth, ” says renowned curator Aman Preet Kaur.
