GALLERY SREE ARTS is all set to present the show- Where the Sky is Pink and Clouds are Green by Seema Pandey.
The Solo show will be on preview on 11July 2022 from 11.00 am onwards.

Jitendra Padam Jain, eminent artist and curator specifically mentions about the artist’s conflicts and how Seema Pandey splashes colours and creates layers of feelings on her abstract work.
“Seema Pandey is fascinated by duality, by the ubiquitous presence of contradictions around, by the ambivalence within oneself, with nature and human behavior. Her artworks are creative showcases of this conflict. She uses colors to express emotion. Clashing colors and sharp lines sometimes create a palette of sparring feelings on her canvases. Varying shades show turbulence. Circular strokes alongside linear ones show opposing philosophies.
‘Where the sky is pink and clouds are green’ show the dualities she experiences, unprepared and cognizant, refusing and accepting, struggle and grace. She begins with splashes of black on the white surface; using different media and tools, lines and dots. Layers are created, at once, covering and revealing. Her complex thought processes blend reality with the abstract,” says Jitendra Padam Jain, an internationally acclaimed artist, art curator and art collector who has organised many exhibitions, art camps as well as artist-in residencies. He has rich experiences in organising national and international exhibitions including Japan Biennale, Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre Delhi, Khajuraho Film Festival and Indo-French Cultural Centre Dé Delhi, Lalit Kala Akademi Delhi, India Habitat Centre Delhi and Goa Film Festival.
“I am fascinated by the duality, this ambivalence that I see everywhere. Nature fascinates and inspires me as much as human and human behaviour. This contrast that exists around us, comes recurrently in my works. Whether I am engaged with tangible or intangible forms in my works, I am dealing with these contradictions. Dualities that sometimes complement each other and at times contradict each other, but always make an interesting subject,” says the eminent artist Seema Pandey.
