WASTE HANDMADE PAPER ACCESSORIES WORKSHOP by DIVYA GOSWAMI

“14 years ago I started to upcycle waste handmade paper to make accessories for table tops and fashion along with a friend. I will be showing how to make hair clips with the use of paper that can last you for years, provided care is taken,” says Divya Goswami, a volunteer at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, teaching interior design to ‘Higher Course’ students (College) and working at the Mother’s Embroidery Department.
Divya Goswami studied Design: Fashion, Styling for advertisements print and film, textiles, interiors and movie sets. She specialized in design studies in New Delhi, Bologna and Paris.
She has been practicing and teaching Taichi, Yoga and Reiki for the last thirteen years.
Divya Goswami was brought up and educated at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry.
Divya Goswami will conduct a Waste Handmade Paper Accessories Workshop at TASMAI, a Centre for Art & Culture, Pondicherry on 29 May 2022.
