UMANG – 14^th ANNUAL CONCERT AT KOLKATA

NRITYANJALI TRADITIONAL KATHAK INSTITUTION (NTKI), Kolkata presents 14^th Annual Concert UMANG – an exquisite showcase of Kathak dance featuring the talented students of NTKI at Rabindra Sadan, Kolkata on 8 June 2024 @ 5.00 PM.

“UMANG promises an evening of mesmerizing performances, capturing the essence of rich tradition and intricate rhythms. The event will feature captivating choreography performed by the students of the institution,” says renowned Kathak performer, educator and choreographer Susanta Ghosh, founder and Artistic Director of Nrityanjali Traditional Kathak Institution, Kolkata.

The event showcases the live world-class renowned musical artists Biswajit Pal, Subir Thakur, Subhasis Mondal, Sanjay Biswas, Jaydip Sinha, Sunando Mukherjee, Chandrachur Bhattacharjee and Soumyojit Ghosh.

ULHAAS – THE SHADES OF LIFE AND RHYTHM

ULHAAS-THE SHADES OF LIFE AND RHYTHM, a four-part presentation conceptualized and choreographed by renowned Kathak Performer Susanta Ghosh who received in-depth taalim from legendary Padma Vibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj ji and Vidushi Saswati Sen will be the highlight of the Musical extravaganza. This unique performance delves into the multifaceted nature of Kathak as an art form and a spiritual journey, culminating in an expression of exaltation and divine connection.
