TRILOGY: A Landmark Exhibition of Chennai’s Masters at Artworld Sarala’s Art International
In the heart of Chennai, Artworld Sarala’s Art International celebrates six decades of artistic excellence with a resplendent exhibition titled “TRILOGY”.
From 31st March to 20th April 2026, the gallery became a sanctuary of vision and imagination, bringing together three of Chennai’s most distinguished artists—K Muralidharan, C Douglas and R M Palaniappan. Each artist, with their unique language of form and spirit, contributes to a dialogue that is both timeless and profoundly contemporary.
R M Palaniappan’s geometric abstractions invite viewers into a meditative space where precision meets poetry. His works, often rooted in cosmic and architectural rhythms, resonate with quiet intensity, offering a contemplative journey through structure and silence. In contrast, C Douglas unveils surreal compositions that blur the boundaries between human fragility and metaphysical wonder. His grayscale figures and dreamlike narratives evoke haunting beauty, compelling us to reflect on existence itself. Completing the triad, K Muralidharan brings vibrant mythological and symbolic imagery alive with dazzling color and intricate patterns. His canvases pulse with energy, weaving tradition into modern sensibility, and reminding us of the eternal dance between myth and meaning.
Together, these three voices form a trilogy of vision—a celebration of diversity, depth, and dialogue in Indian contemporary art.
