TIMELESS STROKES: THE MASTERS

Galleria VSB, New Delhi is celebrating its 20th anniversary presenting a group show titled ‘TIMELESS STROKES: THE MASTERS’ showcasing works of eminent modern and contemporary masters like FN Souza, SH Raza, MF Hussain, KH Ara, Manjit Bawa, KG Subramanyam, Asit Kumar Mandal, B Prabha, Jogen Chowdhury, Chameli Ramachandra at New Delhi from 31 January 2024 till 9 February 2024.

“Timeless Strokes is not just an exhibition; it is a journey through the minds and souls of these visionaries who have, through their unparalleled creativity, shaped the very landscape of modern and contemporary art. Their distinct styles and fearless exploration of themes have conveyed deeper narratives, emotions and cultural significance that have left an enduring legacy, inspiring future generations and contributing significantly to the global appreciation of Indian art,” says Ms Vandana Bhargava, entrepreneur, jewelry designer and art curator.

“Positioned at the core of South Delhi, the gallery has distinguished itself in the dynamic realm of art and its enthusiasts. With an instinctively curated assortment, Galleria VSB proudly showcases a blend of traditional and contemporary art, featuring artists whose works defined the Indian art movement and placed it on the international map. The exhibition showcases 55 Super Master Artworks,” added Ms Vandana Bhargava who is also the chairperson and founder of House of VSB, overseeing various sub-brands such as White & Yellow, Galleria VSB, SKNZ, Luna Jewels and Cafe VSB.

Vandana Bhargava started her artistic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in English Honors from Delhi University. She pursued her passion for gems and jewelry after obtaining a diploma in jewelry designing and diamond gradation, leading to the establishment of her flagship store, ‘White & Yellow – Signature Jewels,’ in 2004. The jewelry designs showcase her love for the art and also serve as a living testament to India’s rich heritage and culture. Empowering craftsmen, particularly those practicing disappearing crafts, she collaborates with them to sustain and create unique designs.

Ms. Vandana Bhargava founded Galleria VSB in 2004 for the promotion and preservation of Indian heritage art. Galleria VSB houses a captivating collection of rare miniature paintings, sculptures and contemporary art, showcasing the magnificence of various art schools and periods. The gallery features Mughal and Rajasthan paintings, Pahari paintings, Old Patta chitras from Odisha and Pichwai paintings. Additionally, it proudly displays sculptures by esteemed artists such as Padma Vibhushan Late Raghunath Mohapatra.
