THE REALM OF MANIFESTATION OF KRISHNA SETTY: A retrospective – a detailed discussion was held at National Gallery of Modern Art, Bengaluru, Ministry of Culture, government of India recently on the renowned artist Krishna Setty’s five decade long artistic journey and his artistic evolutions.

Renowned art writer Nalini Malaviya, Artist Ravikumar Kashi and Dr. Alka Chadha Harpalani attended the discussions on the ‘Works & Life of Krishna Setty’ in connection with the ongoing Exhibition – The Realm of Manifestation.

 The human experience and endeavour, tradition and culture, desire, sexuality and the stories that stuffed with symbols and strong metaphorical languages perceived through his five-decade long artistic journey were thoroughly highlighted, explored and appreciated in the discussions.

 Senior artist Krishna Setty’s retrospective -‘The Realm of Manifestation’ with an enormous body of work, comprising almost 300 paintings, drawings and sculptures among other media was recently previewed at NGMA and the Exhibition is on show now at National Gallery of Modern Art, Bengaluru, Ministry of Culture, government of India, Bengaluru.

The eminent Art Historian Dr. R H Kulkarni moderated the entire discussion.
