Textile as Art & Fashion: A Celebration of Creativity at TASMAI, Puducherry

A dazzling fusion of creativity unfolded on 15th July 2025 with the inauguration of “Textile as Art & Fashion” at TASMAI, Puducherry. 

Shri Dikshit, the Coordinator of all Maharashtra Sri Aurobindo Centres, inaugurated the exhibition.

From exquisite artworks to a graceful fashion show, the event was a tribute to textile’s timeless charm.

“Textile is not just fabric—it’s a canvas of culture, stitched with stories and styled with soul” — says the organizers who brought diverse artworks across mediums, culminating in a stunning fashion show that seamlessly blended tradition with contemporary flair. 

The event was graced by celebrated artists including Malavika Mandal Andrew, Kirti Chandak, Krishna Sheth, Auroapaar, R. Deekshitha, Jyoti Yadav, Madhri Milind Jhaveri, S. Srimathi and Sarathi Mandal, whose presence added depth and distinction to the occasion. 

The exhibition remains open until 13th August 2025, inviting art lovers and fashion enthusiasts to experience the soulful synergy of textile, design and artistic expression.
