TAPAS SARKAR is a renowned Indian Sculptor, worked as a modeler and head of the studio at the prestigious Indian Museum, Kolkata.

Tapan Sarkar’s sculptures are a celebration of all forms of life and range across various mediums including bronze, terracotta and fiberglass.  His works find inspiration in mythology and the tradition of Kalighat Bengal Painting.

Tapan Sarkar has received several awards and scholarships and has conducted talks on “Indian Sculpture Contemporary Scene” in various European countries organized by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in 1999.

He has conducted many solo and joint exhibitions in the country.  He has executed many installations for Central and State government organizations, NTPC, IFFCO and SAIL.

Syamaprasad Mookerjee Port, formerly known as Kolkata Port Trust installed a giant brass sculpture by Tapan Sarkar on the occasion of its historic 150th anniversary in 2020.

Tapan Sarkar, founder of the Sculpture Gallery, Kolkata is now pursuing sculpting as a full time profession.

BARUN PRAMANICK, renowned artist and sculptor lives in Kolkata. 

He has studied Visual Arts at Rabindra Bharati University and conducted several exhibitions at prestigious art galleries including National Exhibition of Art, Mumbai and International Art Exhibition on the “Wonder of Music” at Kolkata.

He portrayed many social issues with bold messages through his works. 

The prestigious show now exhibits the famous sculptures titled  “Varanashi” that reminds us of the rich traditions and culture of our country.

DEBABRATA DE is an eminent artist living in Kolkata.

He has graduated from Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship, Kolkata and started his career primarily as a painter.

He later moved to sculpture and found his true strength in terracotta and bronze depicting multiple human figures of “marginalized and dispossessed” people.

He has conducted many exhibitions including Contemporary Artists in India by HEART, Mumbai, National Exhibition, Rashtriya Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi.

He has conducted exhibitions at Greenwich Citizen Art Gallery and Ipswich Art gallery, UK.
