On August 2, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the Auditorium of Excelsior American School, Sector 43, Gurgaon will transform into a sanctum of movement, melody and meaning. This powerful performance promises to illuminate inner journeys and collective resilience through the language of rhythm and grace.

Adding timeless elegance to the evening is the presence of Padmashri Guru Shovana Narayan as the Chief Guest—her legacy will echo through every nuanced gesture, lending classical depth to this modern offering of devotion.

 A Sacred Story Told Through Sound and Motion

Tapahśakti, meaning “the power of penance,” unfolds as a soulful tapestry woven from myth, melody and movement. Inspired by the divine love and sacrifice of Sati and Shiva, this evocative production takes audiences beyond time—into a realm where sacred stories shimmer through dance and music.

As rhythms rise and lights fall in graceful symphony, performers channel ancient energies, awakening the fire within that purifies and strengthens. Their steps and songs become meditations, echoing resilience and devotion with every gesture.
