TASMAI, Pondicherry presents a solo exhibition of renowned artist Vasanthakumaran R at Tasmai, a Centre for Art & Culture, Pondicherry on 5 December 2023.

Renowned artist Vasanthakumaran presents his unique artworks at Pondicherry. He has participated in many solo and group shows in India and Korea.
An alumni of Bharathiyar Palkalaikoodam, Artist Vasanthakumaran presently works as guest faculty at RDCFA Visual Arts department, Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai.
Artist Vasanthakumaran has recently painted murals on the walls of Vinayagar Koil Street between Kosakadai Street and Rue de La Marine, re-invoking the scene of the Divine Ganga’s descent on the earth as depicted in Mamallapuram which was created by the Pallavas in the 7th Century AD.
Artist Vasanthakumaran draws inspiration and admiration of the timeless masterpieces and he is pursuing a research on the Pallava sculptures. He has won the National Research Scholarship and attended many Art Camps as well.
