SMRITI PATHER KHEYA – POETRY BOOK LAUNCH & READING by SUGATA GHOSH at TASMAI- a Centre for Art & Culture, Pondicherry on Tuesday,  3 January 2023 ( 6.00 PM – 7.00 PM)

The Poems in ‘Smriti Pather Kheya’ written by Sugata Ghosh have been well received in Britain and India, and now at TASMAI an interactive session will be arranged after the launch of the anthology of poems written in Bangla and some in English.

The discussion on the relevance of Poetry and Art to bridge cultures will be comprehensive, live and enjoyable as it describes ‘everyday landscapes and frozen moments from life’.  His poems are delicate, nuanced and easily understood.

Sugata Ghosh has published extensively in many international journals of high repute. He is a Professor at Brunel University, England.  He has studied at Presidency College, Kolkata and JNU, New Delhi and won a scholarship for PhD in Economics from University of Cambridge, England.
