 INFRARED 20

We have reached a period of irrevocable changes in epochal scale in every sphere of life, that will be remembered as the era before and  after the Covid19.

The prolonged Pandemic situation definitely affects  every walk of life very deeply in India as well as the world around .   The issues of survival and sustenance as human being is in peril, as the physical and mental space of every one of us shrinking  day by day of real and unreal life threatening fears, and  being necessitated to be hidden and alien to others, and worse of all being kept under control and perpetually on surveillance beyond our imagination, beside knowing  all the hard hitting reality of life erupted in front of us as never before.

However, how do we the creative community  overcome the dilemma of this dark period that we never experienced  before as calamitous as this one.   Perhaps the great poet from Germany Berthold Brecht said on the situation similar to this as

“the artists never stop creating, song from the dark period will be song of the dark period,’’

Hopefully we are also in the same situation and to take the courageous decision, as not to hold back but go ahead with  vision and wisdom, creativity could make us overcome the constraints of the present.

Taking that note of optimism we the Gallery 1000 A, presenting a national show of 19 practising female artists.

First part of it now opening on 15th October show continue till 25th October .
