Rosy Dutta at Infinite Rasa — SIFAS Festival of Arts 2026, Singapore
On 29 April 2026, renowned Hindustani vocalist Rosy Dutta will enchant audiences at the SIFAS Festival of Arts in Singapore with a soulful evening of Hindustani vocal music from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, accompanied with finesse by Guru Mihir Kundu on Tabla and Guru Subhadeep Kumar Biswas on Harmonium — a performance where tradition, artistry, and emotion converge in perfect harmony.
“I am truly honoured to be invited by SIFAS, Singapore to present Hindustani Vocal, as this iconic festival finds its voice again after a gap of two years,” she shared, reflecting the spirit of renewal that defined the occasion.
Hosted by the Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS) — a pioneer of classical Indian arts since 1949 — the festival marked its 75th anniversary this year, celebrating tradition while embracing a new era in its newly opened premises. Set within a beautiful outdoor amphitheatre and open lawn space, the performance unfolded under the open sky, where music resonated with nature’s rhythm.
This year’s theme, Infinite Rasa, drew inspiration from the classical Indian aesthetic philosophy of rasa — the emotional essence at the heart of artistic expression. Through Rosy Dutta’s evocative voice, audiences will experience the boundless spectrum of human emotion, from joy and wonder to longing and reflection.
