Véronique Durruty’s artistic journey has been marked by many honours that celebrate her sensitive and imaginative vision. In 2019, three of her works were acquired by the French Ministry of Culture under the initiative “A Place, an Artwork,” recognising the depth and relevance of her practice. She received the Histoires Photographiques award in 2018 for Indian Worlds, and the same year, the Maram al‑Masri Prize for her evocative drawings in The Bosom of the Earth. Earlier, she was chosen by the Bureau des Objets Émotifs for its 2013–2014 collection, and in 2013, Pullman added twenty of her images to its permanent contemporary art collection. Each recognition reflects the quiet power of her art and the emotions it continues to awaken.
