Sanjay Ashtaputre: A Symphony of Creativity
Sanjay Ashtaputre’s journey began in the narrow lanes of Hyderabad, where he wielded brushes and breathed life into illustrations. From old comics to watercolors, charcoal, acrylics and oil-on-canvas, he explored every medium.
Sanjay Ashtaputre, a graduate of J.J. School in Mumbai, embarked on an artistic odyssey that transcended conventional boundaries. In his early days, he navigated the precarious path of a freelancer, donning the hats of both designer and illustrator. Children across bookstores would lose themselves in the vibrant worlds he painted within comic book pages—a testament to his resilience during those formative years.
As an artist and creator, Sanjay Ashtaputre’s canvas knows no limits. He wields brushes, pencils and chisels with equal finesse, leaving his mark on paper, clay and metal. His murals, grand and evocative, grace public spaces—airports, plazas and bustling streets—inviting passersby to pause and ponder. Each stroke, each fusion of color, whispers of human emotions and aspirations. Whether in realism or abstraction, renowned artist Sanjay Ashtaputre weaves stories that resonate with the soul. Through a tapestry of emotions and colors, his art captivates the soul.
